Hi fellow bloggers! How has your summer been treating you? Mine has been almost perfect, legendary! Unfortunately it hasn't been a very peaceful summer for some in the East Hampton zone. Tomorrow there will be a meeting at 6:30 in the village to control the air traffic. People against the cause and for will be taking the stand to speak their mind. We're trying to get as many people to attend just to visually show how many people are being affected! Imagine being awaken up at 3 am to the sound of those incesent helicopter propellers! Some people have to suffer from the sound of helicopters, jets, airplanes over their heads all day everyday, 24/7! A lot of people who endure this annoyance don't benefit what so ever, most are innocent residents who live year around who are forced to survive this chaotic summer. Many are even choosing to sell their houses because they just can't stand the noise! Why is this fair? Why is this happening? It's because of the income! The money! For one their have augmented the fuel cost $15, this coat has not been touch in 22 years! They're making enormous profit from allowing these planes to fly in. These planes are also bringing in costumers and clients! Why are the East Hampton people not taking a stand it's because their clients are flighing in, which is understandable! But what happened to the term community? I just spent a few hours trying to get people to attend this meeting coming up and many people just walked away because they said it doesn't affect them! So what? It's affecting someone else! Just because it doesn't affect you doesn't mean it's not a problem! People are selfish! They think that if they're ok, then that's all that matters! We are supposed to be a community, we're supposed help eachother! Wouldn't you want someone to help you?
These planes may not be affecting these people now but the traffic is being moved around because of complaints. They're going to end up driving these people insane as well! The town board is not against airports, they just want a local airport! Right now it is being controlled by the federal government, what we want is that it is controlled by the town of East Hamton so that they can establish curfews and ecological regulations! I mean, think about our carbon footprint! The airport has recently become regional and soon enough there will be planes coming in from Jet Blue and other airline companies! People can't even sell their homes anymore because buyers know which areas mean more noise! If this airplane problem gets more and more out of hand, tourists will find another place to call "the hamptons", a place where there's not so much traffic and noise! I mean come on, people come to the Hamptons for peace and quiet! Planes aren't just disrupting households they are also disrupting beaches and villages! Places people go to relax! there are now helicopter taxis! Think about New York City taxi traffic in the sky! The traffic is getting so out of hand that there have been potential accidents! If a plane fell over a beach, 100 people could be easily wiped out! Think about the people, and the future of the Hamptons!

To stop the noise we need to make some!
